With skill, innovation and a deep respect for the hsitory of the building, the room and the craftsmanship, John and his crew carefully and beautifully restored the badly damaged woodwork in this room. John Hutchinson and the Rose Valley crew are conscientious, knowledgeable and driven to produce first rate restoration and singular pieces of furniture.  We’ve enjoyed working with them for over ten years.  He and his team have provided us with great service in a timely fashion.  I have taken stacks of John’s cards and have gladly handed them out to customers and dealers alike.

You’re in good hands with Rose Valley Restoration.

-Scott Chalfant,

We have trusted our antique furniture to John Hutchinson’s expert hands for over twenty years—and through at least four house moves.  He has done beautiful repairs due to wear, breakage or misuse.  There also have been several occasions when he waxed and polished fine pieces before a big party or a photo shoot.  Perhaps his most challenging assignment was the restoration and preservation of two priceless pieces from a Spanish monastery dating from the late 1500s:  the Spanish door in our Rose Valley home and the matching Spanish vestry table.  He essentially re-built both pieces, along with a period-authentic wax finish, which brought them back to their original luster.  John and his talented crew are hugely knowledgeable, considerate of our needs, and trustworthy with our family treasures.  We simply cannot recommend them or their work more highly.

-Geoff and Saundra Shepard,

Rose Valley Restorations accepted a small tilt-top table from us in order to refurbish a water damaged top. The work was done within several hours and looks outstanding.

What was just as important to us was how responsive they were to our request for help. This level of respect reflects their attention to detail and customer satisfaction even for a small project.

John worked well in a working arts center, respecting students, faculty and staff. The work area was always left clean and he completed his work in a timely manner and on budget.

I would and have recommended John’s work without reservation. He is an artist and a master of his craft.

RoseValley Restoration is the benchmark for quality refurbishments, innovative ideas, and competitive prices.

Recently we collaborated on a painting process that literally transformed old bureaus into timeless masterpieces. Some of my pieces simply needed the right kind of TLC in terms or polish and stabilization. Refinishing along with repairs were required on others.  I found Rose Valley Restoration to be conservative in their approach to restoration, with many options to choose from. They provided pick-up and delivery and the turn-around time exceeded my most optimistic expectations. These men are just “good people” to work with on a personal level, and they treated each piece of furniture with the most professional care I could have found.
